The Night County season was initially slated to air this year, but was postponed to January as result of the WGA strike, HBO CEO Casey Bloys said at the Code Conference Wednesday, Deadline reported.
'We put it in January because I wanted to make sure that we had Issa and Jodie Foster available to talk about it,' Bloys said in reference to union rules that prohibit promotion of projects while a strike is ongoing.
True Detective: Night Country begins airing January 14 at 9/8c on HBO.
