How To Fix “User Is Already Registered With This Email Address” In Character.AI
1. Login With Original Method
If you initially signed up to Character.AI using a social login method (like Google or Facebook), make sure to use the same method again for login.
- Go to Character.AI login page.
- Instead of entering your email and password, click on the original social account you used for registration (Google, Facebook, etc.).
- Make sure you’re already signed in to that social account in another browser tab to make the process smoother.
2. Use Consistent Social Login
If you have multiple social accounts (Google, Facebook, Discord, etc.) sharing the same email address, be consistent with the social account you used when registering.
- Go to Character.AI login page.

- Go to Character.AI login page.
- Click on “Continue with Discord”.
